Evan Green is a self-taught photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up in Northern Virginia, Evan spent much of his childhood tracing his connection to the world through African-American history books and family photo albums – which is where he learned the power of how the images we see of ourselves shape our perceptions of the world. This background has guided his eye, and he aims to create images that illustrate our connections with community and our environments.
